Starting my Journey with GHOFitness
This is my first blog post for GHOFitness and I wanted to share with you all my journey with GHO so far and tell you about the process of joining onto their fitness plan!
I’m madly into health and fitness and I go to the gym as often as I can, I love pushing myself and that feeling of getting strong. But every now and again I’ll reach a plateau in my training due to lack of motivation or repetition in my workouts and I’ll stop seeing progress; but for some reason I had never thought to follow a fitness plan. So when I came across GHOFitness on Instagram, I was intrigued…
I decided to check out their website and see what it could do for me; I liked the look of the meal plans and the simple workout tutorials they offer and so it didn’t take long for me to get on board with GHO. I felt like I’d finally found the solution to keeping on track with my fitness journey. The website itself is so easy to use, once you’ve signed up online, which literally took me 5 minutes (it really was that quick) you just need to add in your weight and measurements and your set! What I loved about the sign up process was the options available particularly when it comes to meal plan preferences. As a vegetarian, it was really refreshing to see these options available rather than just the classic chicken and broccoli option you see constantly on fitness meal plans. I still wanted to eat colourful, creative and tasty meals and this plan allows me to do just that.
Once you’ve signed up, you’re given a dashboard filled with everything you need to know to start your journey, from workout plans broken down step by step to a full meal plan. Which made me so excited to start making progress. I wanted to find a plan that allowed me to follow the exercises that I love- (for me this is weight lifting) and still eat my favourite foods. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this morning my breakfast option was carrot cake oats; the plan includes a breakdown of the ingredients needed to make the meal as well as a step by step guide on how to make it.
As well as this, there is a section named ‘monthly progress’ that allows you to see how far you have come on your fitness journey in terms of the workouts you’ve completed. I find this so useful as it allows me to keep on track of what I’ve done and stay motivated! You also get the option to message your personal trainer for guidance or if you have any questions about the workouts on the plan. This was another amazing aspect for me as for someone that workouts out in a busy gym, the machines in my work out plan weren’t always available to use, so my PT offered me modifications and alternatives. I personally also love that you have to fill out what weight you used when working out and the fact you’re encouraged to clock each workout you do; as this is what keeps me on track and keeps me motivated to push harder and lift heavier each session. The plan also offers video previews of each exercise so you can be confident in your form and that you’re performing each exercise effectively to ensure results will follow!
I’m so happy I found GHOFitness and I really can’t wait to start making real progress with completely tailored plan to suit my own personal goals!
